The different introductory activities offered by the FQSA
A PROGRAM THAT TEACHES SALMON FISHING
The FQSA’s mentorship program has allowed several people to learn about salmon fishing, to meet other enthusiasts and to discover new rivers. The mentorship program also helps promote the creation of a network of contacts, a network of friends and to share some of the knowledge acquired by seasoned anglers over the years.
Each year, about 50 mentors or so chose to generously pass on their tips, skills and, above all, their passion for salmon and fishing with others, showing that the world of salmon is not as “closed” as some people think.
As a result, we are seeing an increasing number of salmon anglers coming out of this program, who in turn are passing on their knowledge and love of the sport to their loved ones.
