Salmon River Watershed Portrait
ATLANTIC SALMON CONSERVATION AND SUSTAINABLE FISHERIES PLAN
These plans are intended to provide a picture of what is happening on a salmon river watershed, both in terms of habitat protection issues and issues surrounding true sustainable fisheries development.
In these projects, we often work with partners other than river managers and anglers, such as watershed organizations, First Nations communities and farmers, to name a few.
We then make recommendations and organizations prioritize conservation actions over time. This becomes a customized tool for regional organizations that can be updated over time.
