Forum des savoirs sur le saumon atlantique

2024 Edition

Next edition of the forum

HABITAT CONNECTIVITY AND RESILIENCE

Following on from the last two editions, Restoring Our Communities and What Future for Atlantic Salmon?, we have chosen to address the complexity of our ecosystems and what is being done to protect them. Ecological connectivity is an essential concept in ecology and biodiversity conservation for many reasons. It also presents a significant fragility that can be disrupted by human activities. The 2024 edition of the forum is therefore an opportunity to reflect collectively on the challenges we face and the actions we can take to maintain this connectivity and promote the resilience of Atlantic salmon habitats in the face of climate change. As in previous years, in addition to topics related to the main theme of the 2024 edition, the forum will also feature presentations on various aspects of the biology of salmon and their habitats.
